To point your domain to your web hosting server or external providers like Cloudflare, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your KatHosting account.
2. Navigate to My Domains from the left sidebar.
3. Click the Manage button next to your domain.
4. Under the Nameservers section, select Custom Nameservers and enter your primary and secondary nameservers (e.g., ns1.yourhost.com and ns2.yourhost.com).
5. Click Save Nameservers.

Note: DNS changes typically propagate globally within 1 to 24 hours.

An EPP Code (also known as an Authorization Code or Auth-Info) is a unique password provided by domain registries to protect against unauthorized transfers.

You need this code whenever you want to transfer your domain name to another registrar. To request your EPP code, go to your domain management page or open a support ticket with our domain specialist team.

You can access your cPanel control panel easily through two methods:

• One-Click SSO from KatHosting: Go to My Hosting & Servers → click Manage → click the Launch cPanel button for instant, passwordless sign-in.
• Direct URL: Open your browser and navigate to https://yourdomain.com:2083 or https://your-server-ip:2083, then enter your cPanel username and password.

Having an email matching your domain (such as [email protected]) establishes trust. To set one up:

1. Log into your cPanel dashboard.
2. Under the Email section, click Email Accounts.
3. Click the blue + Create button on the right.
4. Enter your preferred username (e.g. info or support) and a strong password.
5. Set your mailbox quota or leave it as default.
6. Click Create. You can now access your mail via Webmail (https://yourdomain.com/webmail) or connect it to Outlook, Gmail, or your smartphone.

Saving on your hosting plans and domain purchases is simple:

1. Choose your domain or hosting plan and proceed to the order/checkout screen.
2. Find the Have a Promo Code? input field.
3. Type your coupon code (e.g., WELCOME10 or HOSTING20) and click Apply.
4. Your discount will be instantly calculated and deducted from the payable total.

Your Support PIN is a 6-digit secret security number assigned to your account. It is prominently displayed on your User Dashboard.

Whenever you contact our support desk via ticket, WhatsApp, or phone regarding sensitive operations (such as DNS changes, account recovery, or plan adjustments), our representatives may ask for your Support PIN to verify your identity. You can regenerate a new PIN at any time from your dashboard.
